Clinical Negligence Solicitor (FTC)

My client, an award-winning firm, are looking for an experienced Solicitor to join their Clinical Negligence department at their offices in Wirral. This position is a fixed term contract.

The Clinical Negligence team are highly experience who are independently accredited in Medical Negligence litigation by the Law Society and Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA).

The role

My client is a forward thinking and highly-respected law practice who have an excellent reputation in the Merseyside region and attract top calibre employees and clients alike. The Clinal Negligence team deal with a wide range of medical and surgical claims including delayed diagnosis/treatment of diseases such as cancer to catastrophic injuries such as brain injury at birth.

This position is a fixed term contract. You will be stepping in for a team head to run a caseload. Your caseload will involve high value complex multi-million-pound value Clinical Negligence matters. The role may also involve supervisory responsibility for a team of four which includes a Senior Solicitor, Solicitor, Trainee Solicitor and Paralegal.

The candidate

You will be a Solicitor qualified to practice in England and Wales with at least five years PQE. You will have a proven track record working as a Solicitor, dealing with a case load of Clinical Negligence matters. Previous experience of supervising a team is advantageous but is not essential.  You will be highly motivated Solicitor with the ability to maintain strong client relationships and actively promote the services the team offer to existing and new clients also.
