This firm, located in the heart of Maidstone in the beautiful garden of Kent, deal with some impressive public and Court of Protection work. The firm have impressive links with local organisations, legal aid consultancies, and contacts that allow for a steady flow of work. You will be given the support to business develop, grow the Court of Protection department, and put your stamp on an already well respected firm.
The Firm
The firm are young and new, and already dealing with impressive work including Human Rights, Immigration, Family, Landlord and Tenant, Public Law, and Court of Protection. They are friendly, a tight knit team, and have an existing base of clients and contacts that bring in a good level of top quality work.
You will work and learn alongside a Legal 500 recognised Director, and be given the support needed to hone your skills and grow a department at a very exciting time.
The Role
Because the firm is expanding, they are looking for a Court of Protection Solicitor to work in their Court of Protection & Mental Capacity Department.
You will learn alongside an extremely well qualified Solicitor and deal with a variety of issues, ranging from Mental Capacity Act issues, Power of Attorney, acting as a deputy, making Statutory Wills, setting up Personal Injury trusts, health and welfare disputes, unlawful deprivation of liberty, amongst other complex and interesting issues.
The role will be supported by a close knit team, and you will be supported in growing the Court of Protection department, managing a good case load, and honing your skills.
