This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious NQ Employment Solicitor to join a Chambers recommended, Top 100 Commercial Law firm at their office in Manchester.  The salary and benefits package on offer is competitive and negotiable dependent on experience.

My client has offices across the North West and are Legal 500 and Chambers recommended across many practice areas, including Employment. The Employment & Pensions Department is one of the largest specialist employment teams in the North West and is nationally recognised. It has true sector expertise including in the areas of Recruitment, Sport, Food/Hospitality and Travel/Leisure, acting for numerous household name clients in those sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on:

• Employment Tribunal Litigation
• Discrimination law, in particular sex discrimination, race and disability discrimination issues
• Redundancy and organisational change
• TUPE
• Contract issues/disputes
• Atypical working arrangement

The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified solicitor (or a trainee solicitor close to qualification with the ability to transfer their training contract). Experience of Employment Law during your training contract is essential.

You will enjoy working within a team and building strong relationships within the firm, as well as liaising with clients. You will have a proven interest in employment law and in working in the sectors referred to above.
