A large law firm are looking for a Property Development Lawyer in London

Your new company
A leading large international firm is looking for a Property Development Lawyer to join their London Real Estate team. This global law firm advises FTSE 350 companies, many of the largest businesses in the country, government organisations and wealthy individuals. With a focus on eleven key sectors (energy and natural resources, financial institutions, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, real estate, retail and consumer, transport, logistics and infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and life sciences, technology and private wealth) the firm's expertise allows it to build strong relationships and deliver an excellent service to clients.

Your new role
The firm's Real Estate team in London is looking for a talented lawyer to work with them to support the work they are doing for their developer clients. The work they attract is complex strategic land assembly involving options, promotion agreements, conditional contracts, collaboration and development agreements and land disposals to national housebuilders for London based real estate clients. Applications from candidates with strong residential development experience (specifically of land assembly and disposals) are of interest as they act for national housebuilders.

What you'll need to succeed
You will require a minimum 2.1 degree from a reputable university, demonstrate a solid track record of property development practice, with at least 3 years' PQE experience gained in a leading large regional or or City law firm. You will need to be able to demonstrate commitment to property development as a legal specialism. You will need to work well in a team and have experience of establishing and maintaining long term client relationships.

What you'll get in return
The firm offers a vibrant and supportive working environment built upon its core values; they are progressive, forward thinking, pragmatic and sensible. They pride themselves on high quality client instructions, are committed to investing in the learning and development of their lawyers and support staff at all levels, and encourage their lawyers to build relationships and take part in business development opportunities.
