An attractive Prosecution Lawyer job for local government in London.

Your new company
This local authority in South London is currently looking for a Prosecution Lawyer to join their Regulatory Team on a 12-month maternity cover. This position will be subject to an initial 3-month review.

Your new role
You will undertake advocacy in the Magistrate's Court, attend licensing sub-committees and advise members as necessary, liaising regularly with Council Departments, courts, external agencies and lawyers, as well as other relevant members. You will negotiate, prepare and process relevant legal documentation, and present cases before Courts, Tribunals and Public Inquiries.

What you'll need to succeed
You should be a Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX officer, with relevant experience of Prosecutions, General Litigation and Regulatory Law, equating to a number of years of PQE. You should have an understanding of local government law, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
