Job Details
Are you a Solicitor specialising in Commercial Property work? Do you have ambitions of working at Partner level and ready to take the next step in your career? If so, this regional Doncaster firm may have the role for you.
Taking on a Head of Department role, you will both run your own caseload and supervise the work of others. Our client promotes a friendly and supportive working environment and there are genuine prospects for partnership.
The Role:
-Joining a small team, you will act as Head of Department both running your own files and supervising the work of others.
-The team are genuinely looking for a successful candidate who could progress to Partner level after a period of time.
-Your caseload will be a mixed bag of Commercial Property work, however, the team mainly work with house-builder clients and so there will be plenty of residential development, plot sale and acquisitions work.
-There is some Residential work in the department that you will also be required to take on from time to time.
The Candidate:
-Taking on a senior role in the team, you must have considerable experience working within Commercial Property and be able to run your own caseload from start to completion under minimum supervision. The firm are ideally looking for someone with a few years' experience behind them and have indicated that candidates with at least 3 years PQE will succeed in this role.
-You must also be capable of supervising the work of others within the team.
-Excellent communication skills are a necessity for this role, with the ability to liaise confidently with both clients and colleagues.
-The role would suit someone looking to take the next step in their Commercial Property career to Partner level.
