NPLaw (Norfolk Public Law) is an award-winning shared legal service, hosted by Norfolk County Council, providing advice and representation to a wide range of local authorities and public bodies across England and Wales.

You will be part of a team providing legal advice and support on planning and environmental law matters ensuring that stakeholders’ and clients’ expectations are met. You will carry out your own caseload including Planning agreements made under s106 Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended), Highways agreements made under s278 Highways Act 1980 (as amended)
Compulsory purchase order work, planning advice and other tasks commensurate with the job description such as footpath diversion orders, service of notices relating to dangerous trees, making traffic regulation orders.

You should be qualified to Level 6 of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CiLEX) (or be able to demonstrate competence to work at this level) and have an understanding of the legal procedures, resources and systems to undertake complex casework, with support from Solicitors as required
