A vacancy has now arisen for a legal secretary to join the commercial litigation team. The Role
The firm is looking for a proactive legal secretary with a good level of experience although this does not necessarily have to be in commercial litigation. This is a busy role supporting fee-earners and with substantial client contact as well as liaising with other departments within the firm, including the accounts department and the business legal services team. The firm is looking for someone numerate, ideally with experience in using the Aim Evolution accounting package; with excellent communication and document production skills, able to draft basic non-legal communication and with a professional demeanour.

The Candidate
The firm is looking for an experienced legal secretary with a positive, ‘can-do’ approach, a strong team player with first-class client-care skills;
Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise a fast-paced workload and meet deadlines;
Fast, accurate typing (including from Big Hand) and excellent document production skills including experience in formatting complex documents and using track changes;
Flexible, a good team player;
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, OMS document management and, ideally, Aim Evolution accounting package.
