Contracts Officer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Locum to join a prestigious academic institution based in the East Midlands.

The position will be for an initial period of 3months; however this may be extended further. The assignment is offered on a part time basis of 3 days per week.

It is not essential for this role that you possess experience of working within a Higher Education setting; however a background of handling a range of contracts is desirable.

Duties of the role will include:

• Dealing with Non Disclosure Agreements for student projects working with industries
• Handling a number of placement related agreements
• Assisting colleagues across the team on a wide range of agreements, displaying legal technical skills and negotiating agreements robustly

This position would be suited to legal professionals who are keen to either maintain or expand their knowledge as part of a knowledgeable, small team.

An hourly rate of between £23-£28 (Umbrella/Limited) per hour can be offered dependant upon experience.
