Housing Lawyer required to join local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period, with the possibility of extension thereafter.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will have extensive experience from working within Housing law, specifically with a focus on homelessness.
As a Housing Lawyer, you will be expected to work on a varied caseload which will include, but won't be limited to;
- Homelessness applications
- Section 204 appeals
- Judicial review challenges against decisions not to grant interim accommodation
- Challenges on suitability of accommodation provided by the council
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and friendly team, with the office being located close to public transport links, shops and restaurants.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the public sector, however those with a private practise background will be strongly considered.
