Risk & Compliance Lawyer
A regional heavyweight with an excellent reputation in Greater London and Berkshire has a requirement for a Risk & Compliance lawyer to join their close knit team, working closely with the Partner with a City background on generally high level work. On offer is quality work in a supportive environment where training and development are ongoing. Ideally suited to a junior solicitor (0-2 years) who wants to specialise in Risk and Compliance work.
This full service law firm have built a first class reputation in the surrounding market for delivering a quality led service for individuals and business. This role will fit into a team of 4, working a mixed case-load of Risk and Compliance work. Key Responsibilities may include:
* SRA, AML and Lexcel/ISO quality compliance.
* AML/OFR and other compliance legislation.
* Assisting the COLP and the MLRO to carry out their statutory roles.
* Professional indemnity insurance maintenance, renewal and policy claims.
* Internal/external audits - Lexcel/ISO and SRA.
* Creating, reviewing and updating risk management policies and procedures.
* Developing and delivering training and know-how.
The ideal lawyer will be based locally or within an easy commute to Uxbridge, with some experience in Risk & Compliance. You will have strong academics and be an excellent all round communicator.
