Company Secretarial Team Leader.
My client, an independent professional services firm, has a range of services across finance, banking, tax and company secretarial. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Company Secretary to join their London office to lead a team of three company secretaries.
The role would involve working closely with the managing partner on a wide variety of corporate, commercial, trust and finance matters.
In particular, the role would involve:
-Preparing board packs, attending and minute meetings
-Arranging AGMs and preparing the Chairman’s speech
-Preparing necessary minutes and documentation for companies in respect to changes in officers
-Drafting power of attorney,
-Arranging notarsiations
-Establishing trust structures
-Liaising with regulators and external counsel
-Supervising junior members of staff
-Providing support on issues of company law
-Incorporations, dissolutions, strike-offs
-Preparing and reviewing articles of association, subscription agreements, loan agreements and contracts
-Share transactions: share re-organisations, re-classification, consolidation, reduction
This London-based role would be particularly suitable if you have gained some prior professional services experience and has relevant qualifications such as STEP/ICSA.
