Commercial / IT / IP Solicitor - Berkshire
Our client is one of the UK's leading full-service law firms, with offices in London, Thames Valley, and the South Coast region. They provide our clients with practical and straightforward legal advice whatever their regional, national and international requirements. They pride themselves both on the depth of their deal experience and their ability to deliver specialist support resources on every aspect of a transaction.
The Commercial practice is broad and encompasses many areas of law including contracts, charities, competition, procurement, outsourcing, IP and data-protection. They advise a wide range of clients in the local government, healthcare and education sectors to name a few and act for companies ranging from start-ups to SMEs to large organisations. They have been involved in large infrastructure projects, social care work and frequently provide advice on work which carries importance at a national strategic level.
We are now seeking to recruit a Solicitor for their Commercial team. The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of commercial matters including terms and conditions, goods and services contracts, agency and distributorship agreements, outsourcing agreements, IP licenses, research and development agreements. Knowledge of or interest in competition law, data protection law and public procurement law would be welcomed.
You will be given the opportunity to work autonomously and to supervise other team members from time to time and will be encouraged to take part in business development and marketing initiatives.
The team comprises experienced lawyers with an expansive range of expertise. Joining us means you will have exposure to a wide range of interesting, high-quality work and excellent opportunities to develop.
Please contact James Wheelhouse, Senior Consultant for more detailed information about this role.
Origin Legal follow strict best practice recruitment guidelines monitored by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC). However, we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
