Court of Protection Solicitor
An award-winning law firm is currently seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor to join its West Yorkshire office. Our client has a national reputation, are a forward thinking firm and have a passion for making a difference to people's lives. The firm is long established within the region.
Handling a wide range of cases including community care assessments, judicial reviews, care act services and NHS continuing healthcare to name a few.
You will also work closely with another solicitor in the team on various files.
Due to the work on offer the firm is really open minded as to which level they recruit at. They are happy to consider candidates who are more experienced and want to part time or someone who more junior ideally with community care experience to complement the existing work. They are happy to consider candidates who are more experienced, on a full time basis, who have work to bring with them/contacts in the market.
They are eager to find someone who is motivated and who is a self-starter. Candidates must have excellent client care and strong decision making skills.
You will have experience of running your own caseload and be able to pick things up when needed.
Experience of legal aid supervision, services for children and carers rights and needs would be highly beneficial but certainly not essential for the role.
