Employment Solicitor (NQ -5 yrs)

Manchester based: Legal 100 firm with exceptional reputation in Employment Law. 

One of Manchester’s leading, commercial law firms recognised for its expertise in Employment Law is looking to recruit. The nature of the roles will appeal to Employment Law Solicitors with up to 5 years’ PQE and another role is suitable for a NQ solicitor (provided 6 months training with an established employment department).

You will find exceptional quality of work covering both contentious and non-contentious instructions. The team is retained by an interesting and diverse range of clients including large national and international companies, SMEs and not-for-profit sector clients. Operating across various sectors (Retail, Travel & Leisure, Transport, Professional Services, Engineering & Manufacturing, Technology, Research and Development etc), clients require support and advice on all types of employment issues.

Working as part of a well-structured team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in:

  • Proving general support and advice to HR teams and managers,
  • Preparation of Employment Law contracts, HR policies and procedures,
  • Advising on Employment Law changes,  
  • Negotiating Terminations and advising on use on Compromise Agreements,
  • Advice on Restructuring, Reorganisations and Consultations, 
  • Corporate Support,
  • Tribunal Proceedings relating to Unfair Dismissals and Discrimination,
  • Negotiation of Director, Professional and Executive level terminations,
  • Injunctions and enforcement of post termination clauses.
