Property litigator needed to join a leading international firm that have a top tier commercial dispute resolution practice with some of the most regarded litigation and arbitration partners with local and international expertise. The property litigation team sits within the firm's strong, profitable and hugely regarded Commercial Litigation group but works very closely with the growing Real Estate practice group.
We are looking for a 2 -6 PQE Litigator to join the property litigation team. The team is led by a Chambers & Partners ranked property litigation partner and also has a well-known highly respected senior associate and three more junior associates plus a dedicated trainee.
The team acts for some substantial institutional clients and funds, as well as smaller land owners and some occupiers. It is involved across the full range of commercial property litigation disputes, including forfeiture, rights of light, development disputes, property contract disputes, nuisance, contested lease renewals and property-related negligence. The team has a good mix between its own work coming to it directly (at least half is this), and work from the firm's transactional clients. This means that team members have the experience of working on complex, challenging big ticket standalone litigation, alongside the more routine property- management type issues which themselves remain varied and interesting due to the range of type of projects which our clients are involved with.
