A leading entrepreneurial law firm in London is looking for a senior Family Lawyer.
Your new role
You will be reporting directly to a part time District Judge so you will need to be a confident and experienced Family Lawyer. Day to day, you will be responsible for a variety of matters including Divorce & Separation, Cohabitation Agreements, Grandparents, Variation & Orders Enforcement, Financial, Settlements on Divorce, Preventing Disposition of Assets, Children & Parenting Issues, Leave to Remove, Children, Urgent Applications, Pre-Nuptial & Pre-Civil Agreements, Child Maintenance, Unmarried Families, International Family Breakdown, Domestic Abuse & Violence, Disputed Inheritance Claims, Civil Partnership & Same Sex Marriage.
What you'll need to succeed
You will require a minimum 2.1 degree from a reputable university and be able to demonstrate a solid track record of advising on family matters. You will need to be able to demonstrate commitment to family law as a legal specialism. Exemplary case management, organisation, direct client contact and care, and attention to detail are all essential skill sets. You will need to be able to delegate to and supervise secretarial and support staff as well as more junior members of the team and assist with department training. Experience of establishing and maintaining long term client relationships and an existing client following will also be advantageous.This role would suit a Lawyer with approximately 5+ years' PQE or equivalent experience.
