Locum Solicitor Job, Birmingham City Centre, Competitive Salary, Leading Local Authority

Your new company

Due to an increased workload, we are now looking to recruit a Locum Solicitor to work in the heart of the city centre for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of being extended further. Birmingham City Council is the largest single local authority in Europe offering a range of opportunities and regeneration. Your new role

As a Locum Employment Law Solicitor, you will be joining a busy department and undertake a variety of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, corporate support and advisory work. You will be required to pick up a large, existing workload and be available to assist other department in the council with employment legislation and implementation.

What you'll need to succeed

It is essential that you come from an Employment or Litigation background and experience of local authority and public sector would be highly advantageous, however, not essential.
