Employment Solicitor - Ipswich.

A legal 500 and chambers listed law firm are looking to add to their Employment team with the recruitment of a solicitor to the team

The successful candidate will be a solicitor with experience of working within employment law advising on both contentious and non contentious matters. The majority of the work is on the employer side and the team cover the broad range of employment matters such as unfair dismissal, discrimination cases, redundancy procedures, settlement agreements, TUPE issues, contracts of employment and corporate support work.

You will be working closely with the head of employment who is a keen business developer and has been able to build up the department and you will have the opportunity to get involved in the business development activities of the firm whilst developing your skills in this specialist area further under their guidance.

This is an excellent chance to join a firm where you will be an integral part of the team and have a real influence on the future of the department right from day 1. This may suit a lawyer looking for progression opportunities within a leading firm, who are perhaps not envisaging getting that chance at their current firm.

A salary dependent on experience will be be offered for the successful candidate.
