An exciting Corporate and Commercial Lawyer job with an exceptional not-for-profit organisation in London.
Your new company
This Not-for-Profit Sector rescue organisation is currently looking for a Corporate and Commercial Lawyer to join its world class service team for an initial period of 3 months, whilst they are looking to recruit a permanent member of staff for this position.
Your new role
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of corporate and commercial law matters, including public procurement law, commercial law (particularly contract, IP and company law), judicial review, local government law and matters relating to fire and rescue and emergency law. You will advise on these matters as required, and provide high level legal research and assistance to other fee-earners, including the potential to manage a paralegal, in the event that one is placed in the team.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX Officer with around 2-5 years PQE, though other levels of experience will also be considered. You should have up-to-date knowledge of corporate and commercial law. Experience of public law and working for the public sector is desirable, but not essential.
