In House Commercial/ Privacy Lawyer

A Fantastic opportunity has arisen for a junior corporate/ commercial lawyer to join a Global organisation on a permanent basis. You will focus on Privacy issues and should be able to demonstrate both previous experience of the same together with a keen interest in this area of law. You will work closely with the Global Legal Director and be adaptable and flexible to get involved with a myriad of different legal issues. This organisation provides products and services in 190 countries for globally minded and mobile people.

The role will suits someone with previous exposure to either the Insurance Industry and or Financial services. Knowledge of the FCA handbook is ideal together with global commercial exposure.

This role will incorporate privacy, commercial sales and distribution, product and marketing, IT and digital together with customer services. You will also have responsibility for drafting and advising on cross-border commercial contracts (in multiple jurisdictions) with the organisation’s suppliers, service providers and other third party partners. You will be accountable for advising on legal affairs and legal risk management. The role will also involve interpreting applicable legislation including financial services, health care, consumer protection, data privacy and other legislation, including changes in law or regulation.

The role will be based in both London and Brighton or Staines. All applicants must be prepared to work across at least two locations.
