In-house Litigation & GDPR Lawyer

Our client, a dynamic organisation with national presence is currently looking for an experienced In-house Lawyer to work as sole legal advisor within their busy department. The position will involve a variety of day to day duties supporting a dynamic team of consultants on areas of litigation including civil matters and GDPR data mapping and implementation.

The post is expected to last between 3-6 months and will be an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lawyer looking to gain further experience within an in-house organisation focused on providing an excellent level of service with the opportunity to go permanent.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• At least 2 years PQE with experience working within a law firm, in-house legal department or government body
• The ability to handle civil litigation matters including debt recovery
• Exposure to GDPR and experience implementing processes and procedures, providing guidance on any issues arising and produce commercial solutions
• Confidence to act as liaison with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders
• The ability to deal with company administration and review company communications

The position will also entail:

• Assisting with corporate governance requirements.
• Assisting with board papers and agendas for monthly board minutes
