Job Details

An opportunity has arisen at a leading Legal 500 for a Locum Solicitor to cover a period of 6 weeks and work with an already well established client base. You will ideally need to be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with prior experience of dealing with high quality respondent work.

The team deal with both contentious and non-contentious work and service large clients as well as provide an outstanding quality of work. The role will be dealing with mostly respondent work (with a small amount of quality claimant work) advising an impressive range of regional and national clients, and some individuals. You will be dealing with a wide range of employment matters including review of contracts and policies and procedures, advising on termination of employment, advising and drafting on settlement agreements, providing corporate support on commercial agreements and corporate transactions, and representation during employment tribunal cases.

This period of cover will last approximately 6 weeks, however this period may be extended further if work levels are still high following the appointment of a new Head of Department. Salary and hourly rate will be based on experience and is negotiable.
