Job Details
Our client is one of the leading North Nottinghamshire firms of solicitors with 73 employees across four offices, 2 in Mansfield, 1 in Sutton in Ashfield and 1 in Nottingham.
Due to ongoing expansion, they are currently looking to recruit a Paralegal for their Family Department in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
It is desired that the successful candidate will have experience in running their own caseload although this is not essential, and have the experience and desire to help develop and expand the department. A background in Family work is desired but not essential and Care work preferable.
This role will come with a potential opportunity for a Training Contract.
The ideal candidate for this role must have the following:
- Up to 2 years' experience of working in a Family/Care Department

- a smart and tidy appearance
- excellent attention to detail
- IT competent
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- The successful Childcare Paralegal will undertake duties including but not limited to:
- Assisting solicitors on the child care team
- Attending child protection meetings
- Liaising with social services and police
- Preparing witness statements
- Creating bundles
