Forbes Hall LLP is a long established and friendly firm of Solicitors based in Shoreditch (London) and Woodford Green (Essex) that applies a personal touch when dealing with a strong client base.
We seek an enthusiastic and self-motivated Litigation Solicitor with a strong ability to build on an existing work load to join our Shoreditch office.
The workload is wide and varied, comprising general commercial litigation, contractual disputes, debt collection, property, landlord and tenant, misrepresentation claims and construction disputes. We do not act in criminal, family or personal injury matters.
The litigation in which we are (and have been) involved has resulted in proceedings being determined at every judicial level, from the County Court to the Supreme Court as well as the European Court of Justice.
The work is varied and challenging. You will be expected to provide a high quality service to our clients and to be able to work under pressure both independently and as part of a team. You will also be expected to provide practical, pragmatic advice as well as viable and cost effective solutions to our wide range of clients.
We are looking for a good all-rounder with initiative, a good academic record, and an ability to think outside of the box. You will have excellent communication and writing skills, excellent technical knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and general litigation strategies. The successful applicant will also understand the importance of client care and be able to show an excellent proven track record in effective Case Management.
If you have an organised approach to work and great time management skills, then you may be the right candidate to join our conscientious and hardworking team.
