Job Details
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Contentious Private Client solicitor to join our clients dispute resolution team in the Carlisle office.
They have offices throughout the North West and into Newcastle and this is an exciting opportunity for existing residents in the area as well as candidates who may be looking to relocate.
The role will focus on both the firms existing private client litigation work and establishing new business.
The case load will principally involve Contentious Probate, Trusts and Inheritance disputes and will include Inheritance Act claims, will challenges, Administration Disputes, Removal of Executors, Trust Disputes and proprietary estoppel, with some private land and property disputes such as beneficial interests claims.
You will ideally have 6 years PQE with experience of managing your own case load, business development and the ability to supervise junior members of the team. You will ideally hold an ACTAPS (Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists) accreditation.
You will need a sound knowledge of probate and estate litigation and of the Civil Procedure Rules alongside excellent client care skills. You will need to be comfortable working with autonomy, but more importantly as a member of a team.
The role has excellent prospects for career development. Salary is dependent upon experience.
