Having recently expanded our Child Care Team we are now looking to recruit a Family Lawyer who would like to join our friendly Family Team in our Gloucester office.  If you are able to manage a case load with a minimum of supervision we have a permanent position you may be interested in.

Our ideal candidate would have 3 -5 years PQE experience preferably to deal with all areas of Family Law except Public Child Care Law and be willing and able to undertake their own advocacy in Court on initial  hearings and directions appointments.  You would be advising clients mainly on a Private basis but we also undertake  some Legal Aid work and you will need to have gained a good general knowledge of Family Law including Divorce, Private Law Children Act Matters, Financial Remedy, Injunctions and Cohabitation Disputes.

We are looking for a self motivated individual who has good client handling skills.  You will have the opportunity to be involved in the direction and growth of our Family Law Department where we believe in allocating work on an open and fair basis. You would be working alongside our Family Partner who will be happy to give you input on your cases and to help and advise as necessary as you grow in knowledge and experience.

Ideally we are looking for someone who wants to work full time but for the right candidate we would consider part time.  As part of one of Gloucestershire's premier law firms you can rest assured that we will invest in your future and personal development and provide you with continuous training to allow you to develop in your career.
