Mental Health Solicitor
Harrow, Middlesex
A new opportunity has arisen for a client-focused Mental Health Solicitor on a full-time basis in Middlesex. Applications are encouraged from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives who are NQ to three years PQE.
The Role
Working alongside senior fee earners, your caseload will include representing clients detained under the Mental Health Act in both civil and forensic cases as well as Court of Protection cases. The role will include: conducting advocacy at the Tribunal; ensuring compliance; handling correspondence; file management; taking client instructions and; preparing and progressing cases. The successful Solicitor will, therefore, be technically competent possessing good team working skills and attention to detail.
The Candidate
Ideally, qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive either newly qualified or two - three years PQE;
Solid knowledge of Mental Health matters is essential;
Member of the Law Society's Mental Health Accreditation Scheme would be desirable;
Willing to participate in business development and networking initiatives;
Handle a diverse caseload to meet key deadlines.
