Trainee Trade Mark Lawyer – Oxford
Sipara is a specialist intellectual property (“IP”) practice with offices in the UK and Sweden, see www.sipara.com. We have a vacancy in Oxford for a trainee trade mark attorney to join our growing business.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain a professional legal qualification as a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney (https://www.citma.org.uk/careers/becoming_a_chartered_trade_mark_attorney) whilst working in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to quality work and high-street and international brand name clients.
The role will involve looking after our clients' interests across many different countries dealing with a broad range of IP but with a focus on trade mark and design clearance and registration. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven to meet deadlines and have the confidence and flexibility to adapt to our clients' needs.
As part of your training you would attend Queen Mary to take the Trade Mark Law and Practice Course http://www.law.qmul.ac.uk/postgraduate/courses/items/138014.html and Nottingham Trent to take the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice see https://www.ntu.ac.uk/study-and-courses/courses/find-your-course/law/pf/2018-19/trade-mark-practice.
Ideally you will have taken the LPC. Start date is flexible. 3-year contract. If you are interested please send your CV to hr@sipara.com.
