Job Details
Opportunity to join this Legal 500 listed Lancashire based practice and act as the senior figure within the agricultural law team. You will need to have a gained a minimum of 5 Year PQE+ to be successful as this will be a senior role within a well established department based in the heart of Lancashire.
You will be required to deal with a mix of agricultural property and a mix of residential & commercial property matters. The residential & commercial property matters will consist of high vale transactions into the £millions with the caseload consisting of acquisitions & disposals, commercial leases, developments incl. residential development, secured lending and large project work. The agricultural work will consist of agricultural land sales, farm sales (in excess of £2,000,000+), tenancy agreements, diversification projects and landed estates. On top of your fee earning, you will be expected to supervise a junior solicitor and assist with their development.
As this is a traditional environment you will also have a dedicated Legal Secretary and your own office. You will have an existing caseload to deal with however you will also be expected to deal with business development once settled and continue with the growth of the referral network.
Salary will be based on PQE level however will exceed £40,000 as a minimum. Other benefits include work/life balance, 6% pension, private healthcare and a bonus.
