Senior Legal Counsel

 

Salary up to £61,000 p.a. inclusive of L.W. and Market Supplement

We are seeking an in-house Senior Legal Counsel to provide specialist legal services, professional advice, guidance and support to senior managers on contracts and commercial arrangements.  You will provide advice on the handling of legal issues in areas relevant to the activities of the University, its partners and/or subsidiaries including data protection, student issues, employment, litigation and charity law.


Educated to Degree level and a qualified solicitor, you will have an in depth knowledge of commercial and contract law as well as first-rate contract drafting skills and a proven track record of working with complex or varied contracts.   You will have proven experience of interacting with and influencing senior managers and the flexibility to manage a varied range of legal demands.
