Risk & Compliance Manager

The role is varied and diverse and will involve providing advice on a full-spectrum of legal compliance matters, including to do with the SRA, anti-money laundering, data protection, information security and more. You will also assist, where appropriate, with the complaints handling and claims management process.

You will also assist in devising and delivering training programmes in relation to risk and compliance and will lead risk management and continuous improvement initiatives, to ensure the firm remains fully compliant with regulatory obligations and prepared for emerging risks.

Our client is ideally looking for a qualified solicitor who has experience in compliance, however they will consider people with broad-ranging law firm risk and compliance experience as above, or someone who has had more narrow legal risk and compliance experience and would like to broaden their knowledge. It is essential that the successful candidate has a legal risk and compliance background.
