Your new company
A leading law firm is looking to hire a Lawyer into their Litigation & Dispute Resolution group in London. The firm's Litigation group has long-standing experience of working with some of the most successful and influential businesses in the UK and also internationally. Their multi-disciplinary team delivers a broad range of specialist legal services, and particularly stands out for its expertise across sectors including, but not limited to: energy, education, banking and financial services, investment funds, healthcare and advanced manufacturing. They pride themselves on technical expertise to deliver the best possible solutions for their clients, ranging from large household names and multi-million pound turnover companies to small owner managed businesses.

Your new role
You will be part of the Dispute Resolution London team which deals with all types of commercial disputes, in particular complex and high value commercial and contractual litigation, as well as corporate disputes and professional negligence claims.The team also specialises in contentious trusts and probate which includes disputes over wills, financial provision claims, disputes with executors, disputes regarding powers of attorney and contested Court of Protection applications. You will be working alongside senior lawyers to provide assistance on a wide range of litigation and arbitration work. This will involve assisting in all aspects of our matters, including: contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, breach of sale and purchase agreements, warranty and indemnity claims, mis-selling financial instruments, professional negligence claims, real estate and construction disputes, freezing, search, seizure and disclosure orders and assisting with complex and high value claims for various insolvency office holders in relation to wrongful trading, breach of trust, preference transactions, transactions at an undervalue and transactions defrauding creditors.

What you'll need to succeed
You will require a minimum 2.1 degree from a reputable university, demonstrate a solid track record of dispute resolution or litigation work, with at least 3-6 year's post qualification experience within a private practice team. You will need to be able to demonstrate commitment to dispute resolution as a legal specialism. You will need to work well in a team and have experience of establishing and maintaining long term client relationships will also be advantageous. You will need to have gained practice experience with a recognised law firm with a well established and respected litigation practice team.
