Job Details
Our client is a national firm and they are looking for an NQ-3PQE for the Commercial Healthcare team, to be based in either the Birmingham or Nottingham offices
You will be required to work across all disciplines within the commercial health team. A large proportion of the work is non-contentious commercial advice for public health bodies including NHS England, large NHS Trusts and CCGs alongside advising private sector organisations that have relationships with the NHS. The advice includes:
- commercial agreements relating to collaborations, joint ventures and outsourcing;
- all aspects of EU procurement law, including challenges;
- major projects, including trust mergers and health system reorganisations;
- vires and governance;
- primary care arrangements including GP partnership agreements, mergers and retirements.
Work will range from drafting short advisory reports and contracts to assisting on multi million pound projects.
They are seeking to enhance the commercial health team through the recruitment of a newly or recently qualified solicitor. The right candidate for this developing role will possess enthusiasm, flexibility and a keen willingness to progress. They require an individual who has experience of either working for or very closely with NHS bodies, local authorities or other public sector bodies
