Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has a reputation as one of the UK’s most innovative and effective higher education institutions.

Rigorous implementation of a clear strategic vision led to 2017 being a year full of significant successes, publicity and recognition for the NTU community, culminating in our receipt of the prestigious University of the Year award. Along the way, we have recorded some of the highest student satisfaction levels in the country in the 2017 National Student Survey and achieved the TEF gold standard for the quality of our teaching. We are also extremely proud to have been named Modern University of the Year in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018.

Nottingham Law School (NLS), one of the eight schools which form NTU, is a leading provider of legal education with an established record for delivering innovative and inspiring courses. As one of the largest UK law schools, we offer a range of undergraduate degrees, academic and practitioner postgraduate courses, and a strong research-degree programme. We have an excellent reputation for research in insolvency law, criminal justice, legal education, international environmental law and intellectual property law, with our outputs rated as world-leading or internationally excellent.  NLS has a fully-regulated teaching law firm and is a pioneer in legal education and training.  With over 2,500 students and over 100 academics, we already work with a wide-range of legal firms and organisations nationally and internationally.

Following recent regulatory changes to legal education and training, we are seeking an outstanding candidate to support our plans and provide effective strategic leadership and management of the School’s external engagement activity.  The post-holder will be a member of the NLS senior leadership team and report directly to the Dean.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come. Help us to go even further www.ntu.ac.uk
