Our client is a strong commercial international firm with a global presence.
They are looking for an NQ-2PQE corporate solicitor in both the Leeds and Newcastle offices
Their national Corporate team continue to impress clients and industry experts alike. The 50 strong national corporate practice are handling some ground breaking transactions within their sectors and supporting significant deals in the development of the clients' business. Needless to say it's an exciting place to be.
The established corporate team in Leeds and Newcastle are now looking for a newly qualified lawyer who wants to work in a leading corporate team which is competing increasingly with the established top tier firms in the market.
What will you be doing?
The team's main focus is on private M&A, private equity transactional work, joint ventures, reorganisations and a broad spread of transactional activity for clients in Yorkshire and nationally. You'll also have the opportunity through the wider national team to gain experience on public M&A and ECM work. You'll advise on national and international deals across our sectors, particularly chemicals and manufacturing, financial institutions, real estate and retail.
What does the ideal candidate look like?
You'll be a newly qualified lawyer keen to specialise in corporate law who's had exposure to quality corporate transactions during your training contract from a large regional or city firm with excellent drafting skills and a sense of commercial pragmatism. Equally as important will be your ability to demonstrate a proactive attitude to work, a bright mind and a strong team ethos to help further development the team's client base.
