Senior Litigation Solicitor

Hammersmith and Fulham Council’s Legal Services is looking to recruit a Senior Litigation Lawyer to advocate and advise the Council on a variety of Civil Litigation matters.  The applicant would need to have a strong understanding of housing and civil proceedings and Judicial review.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic England and Wales lawyer with substantial post qualification experience who is able to provide routine and complex advice and where necessary act as an advocate for all areas of civil litigation including homelessness, landlord and tenant, Judicial Review, and leasehold disputes etc. The post holder will enjoy a wealth of challenging and varied legal work, sometimes within tight timescales. The successful candidate will strengthen our Litigation team. 

You will also be keen to develop your skills in other areas of legal work covered by the team. You will need to manage your own workloads and juggle competing demands and deadlines.

You will be a confident and skilled lawyer with a “can do” attitude, have a commercial outlook and will look for innovative and collaborative ways to deliver a client focused service which adds value for our clients and taxpayers.

The Service works in a flexible and agile fashion so applicants do not necessarily need to be based in London all week.
