Conveyancing Executive (New Homes) - Southampton

An established and modern legal 500 Private Practice with a number of Residential Property teams set up across the South of England. The conveyancing teams have dealt with thousands of transactions in all matters concerning property in particular buying and selling freehold or leasehold property. The team in Southampton have a great deal of knowledge and expertise in many areas including buying from a developer or at auction, lease extensions, re-mortgaging and transfers of ownership. The firm as an enviable reputation and has attained "highly commended" status in the CQS Award for Excellence in Conveyancing Practice at the Law Society Excellence Awards.

The Southampton office, due to exceptional business growth and expansion, now require an additional Conveyancing Executive to join the New Homes team. This specialist team have considerable experience in dealing with the demands of developers and recognising the purchasers' unique requirements involved when buying a new home. This expertise has won them the trust and business of a list of clientele in this sector resulting in a strong pipeline of work.

The Southampton is a relatively new addition to the network across the South Coast. This role therefore represents an opportunity to join a new team that already has doubled in its size since setting up and will certainly provide an opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of this office.

As a Conveyancing Executive you will manage your own not insignificant caseload of Residential conveyancing transactions, progressing them wholly from file opening to post completion obviously with a specific focus on new home purchases and part-exchange matters. You will benefit from an excellent legal support team which will allow you to genuinely concentrate on your own performance and contribute to the department expectations and targets.

You will enjoy already having been part of a successful residential team taking an active part in in its success and development which will include pursuing business development activity to identify additional referral sources. Naturally you will be a motivated individual, a great communicator, be highly organised and efficient.
