We’re looking for an employment rights expert to help build on our policy work at the TUC. We’re particularly interested to hear from people who’ve experience of providing legal advice and interpreting legal issues with a sound knowledge of, and interest in, equality and discrimination issues, and a broad understanding of how trade unions have used the law to ensure that working people get the rights and treatment they deserve at work.

This is a part time post, and we’re happy to discuss working patterns. We’d also particularly like to hear from people from a Black and Minority Ethnic background, who are currently under-represented at this grade in the TUC.

If you would like to find out more about the role before applying, please do email kbell@tuc.org.uk to arrange an informal discussion.

Please see attached JD and PS

Tuesday 19 June 2018 and second stage on Thursday 28 June 2018.

TUC staff enjoy a good benefits package including final salary pension scheme and other benefits.  The TUC values a diverse workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community and from within and outside of the trade union movement. We particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic (BME) candidates, who are underrepresented at this grade in the TUC.
