Trading Standards Officer

Role: A public sector organisation in Merseyside requires an experienced Trading Standards Officer with previous experience in food standards to join their team on a temporary, three month basis, with the strong likelihood of extension.

Day to day duties:

- Assisting with, and advising on food standards, including animal feed
- Undertaking own project on food hygiene
- Applying Legal Metrology as required

The ideal candidate must have previous experience working within food hygiene and posses either a diploma or DCATS qualification.

Our client ideally requires cover for 36 hours per-week and operates on a flexi time basis, part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
