Location: Remote (home) workers or based in any one of our Sheffield, Darlington, Manchester, Nottingham or Coventry Offices. Travel to the London office may be required.

Salary: £58,607 - £67,860 or £61,829 - £71,833 for London based remote workers

Working Pattern: Full time, part-time or flexible accepted.

Brief Description:

The role holder will form part of a team of c.30 legal managers and commercial managers, the majority of whom are qualified solicitors, and so will be required to work closely with colleagues on complex property and construction transactions.

Using your past experience of working on large scale construction projects, you will be required to provide the in-house legal and commercial input across a large portfolio of education construction projects. This will involve working with internal project teams and external technical and legal advisors to tender, negotiate and manage construction contracts.

We are looking for experienced construction lawyers who are able to lead on complex and high value procurements, negotiating key complex issues with private sector bidders whilst protecting key policy positions and ensuring value for money.
