Head of Family - Legal Aid

Are you feeling up to a challenge? I regional practice with offices in both North and South Manchester has been awarded a legal aid contract for family law and is looking for a family solicitor to develop this offering - and to eventually manage teams in both offices.
My client is well known for its criminal law and civil litigation offering and has grown rapidly over the last few years. From previous placements we've made with the firm it's clear to see that the salaries are very competitive, and you can choose which office you'd like to be based at.
The firm does get some family enquiries, but the role will involve working with management to develop the legal aid family offering and to handle the work independently until you're in a position to hire a team of your own.
The ideal candidate? You'll be a panel accredited family solicitor with extensive legal aid experience. Supervision experience will be necessary.
This is a role with so much potential to grow quickly from a sole family solicitor to the head of a busy department, with the firm's complete backing.
