Interim Legal Counsel

We are currently working with a well-known pharmaceutical company in their search for a Commercial/Technology Legal Counsel to join their legal team, based in West London, for an initial 6 month period.

The Legal Counsel will be required to provide advice to the UK business on a number of legal tech, compliance/data protection and policy matters.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Negotiate and draft IT and digital services contracts, extensively in digital, social media, and data analytics
• Negotiate and draft a variety of commercial agreements/documents.
• Review and interpret new or pending legislation and regulations impacting information technology and digital services to ensure compliance.
• Interact with other Legal and non-legal teams in matters related to global and enterprise-wide transactions
• Perform or support due diligence on proposed transactions.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;  

• Good general commercial knowledge with an understanding of how this is applied in the pharmaceutical industry
• Qualified Solicitor
• Strong understanding of IT and digital services contracts
• Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical sector will be advantageous
• Ability to start on short notice
