Commercial Insurance Solicitor

You will join a sub-team that is part of a wider, L500 recognised commercial insurance department of an international firm. You will focus on complex, high value property damage and policy indemnity/fraud matters, acting for a client based comprised almost exclusively of major insurers. This sub-team focuses on the most technical matters that the department is instructed on and so you can be sure of stimulating work.

PQE / Experience: 2 - 5 years’ PQE

Commutable from: West Midlands, Black Country, Coventry, Warwickshire, Worcestershire

Salary: circa £40,000 - £46,000 / negotiable

A prominent international practice, they are one of the largest legal practices to hold a Gold Investors in People award, testament to the investment they put into their staff. They have a significant insurance practice and undertake a wide variety of defendant work.

The particulars

Ideal Candidate Criteria:

• Solicitor between 2 – 6 years’ PQE
• Background in commercial insurance work preferable, but will consider commercial litigation or professional indemnity experience
• Excellent understanding of the CPR
• Strong client care skills
• Strong academic background and technically very strong
