Job Details
This internationally renowned law firm based in Birmingham city centre is now recruiting for an experienced law costs draftsman to join their highly established costs department on a permanent, full time basis.
Based in Birmingham, this law firm has a full-service costs structure giving you a breadth of experience including areas of law such as personal injury, commercial litigation, family and court of protection. The recovery of costs is dealt with by a large costs team who turn over recovery of approximately £100 million of the firm's fees per annum.
You will deal with solicitors files across a range of departments and prepare costs claims for submission to opposing solicitors, you will also be expected to undertake negotiations and have involvement with advocacy.
In order to be considered for this law costs draftsman position, you must have at least 1 years' experience working either in house or for an external supplier of costs drafting services, have a flexible approach, have excellent organisational and communication skills.
You will be required to undertake training and be encouraged to study for additional qualifications.
