Senior Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

A very well established and award-winning full-service practice is keen to appoint an additional experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to its well regarded Residential Property Team in a senior capacity and be based at the firms' office in South Birmingham.

This Legal 500 rated practice is arguably one of the strongest regional firms in the West Midlands and it is renowned as being particularly strong within the corporate, commercial and property sectors. The Residential Property Team acts on behalf of a very strong client base which comprises a significant amount of repeat instructions from clients within both the locality and also stretching into Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

The firm is now keen to speak with an experienced residential conveyancing solicitor who has a minimum of 6 years' PQE and who is able to handle the full remit of residential property matters with very little supervision. Where this role differs from others is that there is a significant emphasis on succession planning meaning that there is a very real possibility of you progressing relatively swiftly and being able to head up the department within the coming years. As such, and given the seniority of this position, it is vital that you are able to work autonomously, have a very broad experience of dealing with all aspects of residential property matters and that you are also experienced in undertaking business development to open up new revenue streams.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who remains keen on continuing to deal with top quality work but who is perhaps disillusioned with the operating structure in your current team and are perhaps tired of being overlooked for promotion again and again. This role would allow you to work in a more collaborative environment where you will be a key decision maker and will have very little in the way of bureaucracy or committees to answer to, and you will also have the freedom to develop your own ideas and reap the benefits of this.

The firm is offering a very competitive salary and benefits package which includes a generous holiday allowance with the opportunity to purchase more annual leave, childcare vouchers, healthcare policies and season ticket travel loans. A lucrative bonus scheme can also be tailored to your business plans and you will certainly benefit from being rewarded as and when you generate additional work for the firm so if you are a senior conveyancing practitioner who is looking for a role with acres of progression opportunities then this opportunity is well worth exploring further.
