Our client is a boutique practice in Manchester that deals with Court of Protection work.

This is a new post, you will work with a Director and assist with the undertaking of the compliance work of the practice. This firm has Lexcel accreditation and also complies with the OPG Deputyship Standards.

We are looking for an employee or a consultant to work the equivalent of two days per week, which can be on a flexible basis.

Experience of compliance work in a solicitors practice is essential and the successful candidate will have knowledge of the Code of Conduct, AML regulations (most of our work is regulated), GDPR as well as Lexcel. The firm undertakes no commercial work and so all the compliance work is in respect of private individuals.

Work will include file reviews, reviewing and updating the firm's policies and procedures on an annual basis, internal auditing and advice to members of the firm.

It would be an advantage if the candidate has experience of working in a firm which undertakes Private Client/Court of Protection work and also is able to deliver internal training on compliance topics.

This is a firm that is truly flexible and really believes in a work life balance, as well as your pro rata salary you have an excellent range of benefits after completion of a three month probationary period.

The hours you work are down to you, it will be the equvilent of 2 days and this can be over 2 days or spread out in the amount of days you want to work across all 5, they will fit the hours into the times you want.
