Locum Employment Lawyer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Employment Lawyer to join a well established public sector organisation based in the Northern Home Counties and commutable from the West Midlands.

The contract is initially for 6 months however, there is a strong possibility that this could be extended. The client is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Lawyer to ideally provide assistance on a full-time basis and offering flexible working hours.

Applications will be considered from Solicitors, Barristers or Legal Executives with experience gained within the public sector.

The candidate must have good experience:

• Managing a complex caseload of employment matters
• Advocating at preliminary case management hearings and dealing with Employee Relations queries at the Employment Tribunal and the County Court
• Drafting complex agreements including TUPE transfers
• Providing advice to schools when required

For this role, the client is offering a rate of £35 to £40 per hour for the successful candidate.
