The main points to consider in this role are: amazing career prospects and a guarantee of top quality work, plus the autonomy to settle cases yourself and dictate strategy for the case.
 
You should be technically strong with a background in Personal injury, Civil Litigation or Regulatory work, and you will be happy to perform advocacy where necessary.
 
The caseload would involve defending high value cases relating to serious RTA, EL PL, negligence, catastrophic injuries and litigation cases often on behalf of public sector bodies and local authorities.
 
You should have strong analytical skills and attention to detail is absolutely paramount here given the vale of some of the cases that are being taken to court. 
 
You will have excellent organisational, questioning, and negotiation skills, and will be able to liaise with clients directly.
 
Applications from relocators will be considered, however, you should be able to demonstrate a commitment to live and work in the East Midlands.
 
Applications would also be welcomed from solicitors working in-house for councils or local authorities provided you also have excellent academics and have worked on high value cases.
