The Role

The firm is seeking a Childcare Solicitor to join their City of London office, the role involves a brilliant opportunity to grow your reputation amongst recommended lawyers.

This is an exciting role within a reputable child care department. This is a team of 4, who are all accredited members of the children panel as such contain an extensive knowledge of all aspects relating to children. The role entails public law matters including actions taken by the social services for the protection of children. Further duties include private law matters including family disputes, and issues relating to residence, parental rights, contact and residence.

This department has established its self as a trusting, personable department. With staff coming from a mixture of family backgrounds allowing them to have an empathic approach to their role.

The Requirements

• You will be a Childcare Solicitor or a Family solicitor with at least 2 years PQE
• An ability to work with vulnerable people
• Be an accredited member of the children panel
• Experience of running a caseload of children work, including care and adoption
• Experience in domestic DV and FMPO (advantage)
• Salary is negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package
